Reading Language Arts
· Literature Unit: Biographies and Autobiographies (readings, discussions, and projects will be completed in class)
· Language Arts: Unit 3 on nouns (quizzes are given on Thursdays. Study the handouts)
· Spelling and DOL test every Friday
· Book Reports: The next book report is due November 16th. Students must take the AR test

BOOK IT
Our class is participating in the BOOK IT! Program, which kicks off on October 1st and runs through March 31st. Starting in October each student will be required to read at least two books per month to earn a Pizza Award Certificate that is redeemable for a free one-topping personal pan pizza. Books may be checked out at the school library. Students need to remember to record the books they read in their reading logs |
