Math Study Guide
Please go over each of these skills with your child during the week so your child will do well on Friday’s test. The study guides will go home every Monday along with the previous Friday test. Please sign and return the test. Every now and then I will send extra work home to be returned.

5. Read a Simple bar graph 6. Learn where the touch dots go on numbers 1 to 9 (touch math) 7. What sign goes in the sentence? Students will have a number sentence (3_2=5), they will be asked what sign (+, - ) goes in the blank. For an addition sentence the “big” number is at the end. For subtraction sentence the “big” number is at the beginning. Addition sentence 1_2=3 Subtraction sentence 5_2=3 8. Tally marks. Count and draw a certain number. 9. What number comes before, after and between another number. 10. Counting pennies and trading for a nickel. 11. Even and Odd numbers.
